Canberra has some of the world’s best street art and today’s images in focus are taken from Hillside Lane – just behind the Quest Hotel and off Akuna Street in Civic.

Each Civic laneway has a unique mural theme:  Hillside Lane is all about passport stamps to exotic destinations.  Before recent renovation works, Riverside Lane was based on a garden theme whilst Tocumwal Lane takes its lead from iconic local business Impact Comics and follows with a comic book hero series.

Hillside Lane also features a walk through to Ethos House and has been known as a “secret” public car park for those in the know for many years.
