Cool Murals of Canberra: Part 14
Canberra’s street art is recognised as world class and here is the latest series in Part 14.
Vivid colours are a theme which works exceptionally well in a city where many buildings in public places lend themselves to a landscape artwork.
Of particular interest is the tree mosaic at Pavilion on Northbourne which is easily the most attractive facade of any public accommodation in the ACT. For those of you who moved to Canberra in the 1980s, Pavilion was originally the Canberra International Motor Inn and the same group also constructed Rydges Capital Hill on Canberra Avenue.
The artwork in Bradley Street complements the new dining precinct and is found on the multi-storey carpark directly south of Bonner House.
